At CONVOTIS Iberia, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the day-to-day operations and governance of projects for two network monitoring and design products, supporting and reporting to the Enterprise Programme Manager. You will work with the Programme Lead, Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams from Europe and the USA, from planning to launch.
Manage the day-to-day operations and governance of assigned projects
Document and maintain scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones agreed upon with Product and Engineering, and manage change control when scope shifts
Build and maintain Jira Plans with milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery status
Ensure that Engineering estimates and resource needs are reflected in the plan, and provide early warning of delivery constraints
Lead weekly governance and tracking meetings to evaluate progress, identify blockers, and ensure that every action has an owner and a date
Maintain the RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies), with an owner and mitigation for each item
Track dependencies and keep them visible in the plan and in the RAID log
Track progress against milestones and commitments, and provide early warning when a milestone is at risk
Ensure that Product and Engineering keep their deliverables, milestones, and statuses up to date in Jira, so that Jira is a reliable source for reporting. Review Jira regularly, chase what is missing, and escalate persistent issues to the appropriate owner
Agree on readiness criteria for each launch (firmware, hardware, and certification where applicable) with Product and Engineering, track their status, and relay it to reporting
Escalate to the Programme Manager when a committed milestone or launch date is at risk, the agreed scope changes, a resource constraint cannot be resolved with the owner, or there is a blocker that cannot be resolved at the project level
