What you'll do

Engineering and Project Management
• Define, lead, and execute instrumentation, control, and automation projects (design, procurement, FATs, commissioning, and final documentation).
• Coordinate the scope of work between disciplines, manage contractors and suppliers, and ensure safe and quality execution according to Covestro standards.
• Execute feasibility studies and identify improvement opportunities through LEAN methodologies.

Process Control and Automation
• Responsible for the support and performance of process control hardware and software (DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA, Batch, MES, BPCS).
• Monitor, analyze, and improve process control; manage configuration changes, updates, and system lifecycles.
• Support for OT systems, cybersecurity, and management of change (MOC).
• Knowledge of DCS EMERSON DeltaV is valued

• Participate in PHA/HAZOP studies, prepare Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS), and implement measures in SIS systems.
• Guarantee compliance with HSE regulations, current legislation, and Covestro standardization guidelines.
• Maintain safety loops updated and in accordance with Covestro regulations and standards (instrumentation, testing protocols, and commissioning).

Maintenance and Operations
• Plan and coordinate instrumentation tasks for maintenance turnarounds.
• Support the maintenance department in fault diagnosis and resolution, and provide support and training to supervisors and operators.
• Support operations in digitalization and process automation processes (MES, LIMS)
