Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience of at least 2 years in FEM models of equipment for the nuclear industry or large-scale scientific facilities: static, dynamic, seismic, thermohydraulic, electromagnetic calculations...
  • Proficiency in Ansys Mechanical and/or Ansys Fluent.
  • Knowledge of nuclear regulations, such as RCC-MR or ASME.
  • Valuable knowledge of programming with Python.
  • Advanced level of English (minimum B2).
  • Proactive and teamwork-oriented.

The role

Currently, we are selecting a Scientific Equipment Calculation Engineer - Nuclear to participate in structural calculation and simulation projects within the nuclear and large-scale scientific facilities sector.

What you'll do

  • Perform structural analyses (static, dynamic, and fatigue) of components, equipment, and structures associated with nuclear facilities and large-scale scientific facilities, using analytical methodologies and finite element tools (FEM).
  • Develop models and simulations to evaluate the strength, deformation, and behavior of materials and assemblies.
  • Issue technical reports, calculation documentation, and design justifications in accordance with regulations.
  • Interpretation, use, and validation of results derived from finite element models.
  • Proposal and development of scripts and automation tools to optimize calculation processes and for the preparation and management of derived results.
  • Participate in internal and client technical reviews, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the fulfillment of quality, safety, and reliability requirements inherent to high-technology demand projects.
