What you'll do

The main responsibilities and duties of this position are:

  • Industrialization of plastic parts (technical plastics) and design of this type of molded part.
  • Material selection.
  • 3D and 2D design in Solidworks of molded parts, as well as technical drawings with ISO dimensioning.
  • Design of sheet metal parts.
  • Study of dimension chains to ensure assemblies.
  • Resolution of issues detected in design, manufacturing, and assembly.
  • Task detection and communication with the work team.

What we're looking for

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automatic machinery development and product development.
  • Extensive knowledge of plastic part design, as well as their manufacturing through injection molds (parting lines, ejectors, slides, shrinkages, mold releases, etc.)
  • Proficient in Solidworks
  • Knowledge of technical plastics.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal bending.
  • Extensive knowledge of 3D and 2D, ISO dimensioning.
  • Extensive knowledge of dimension chain studies, and mechanisms (gears, worm gears, bearings, etc.)
  • Languages: English level B2 or equivalent.
