What we're looking for

🔹 Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
🔹 +3 years in cloud pipeline design/implementation.
🔹 Proficiency in SQL, Spark, Airflow, and Kafka.
🔹 Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
🔹 Experience in real-time data processing (Flink or Spark Streaming).
🔹 Solid foundations.
🔹 Knowledge of ETL integration tools (DBT, NiFi, Talend).
🔹 Knowledge of monitoring models in production.
🔹 Ability to document implemented flows and solutions in a structured and professional manner (diagrams, technical descriptions, best practices).
🔹 Skills to work with multidisciplinary teams in high-demand environments.

The role

At Datadope, we are looking for a Data Engineer passionate about building scalable and efficient data architectures in the cloud. If you enjoy designing and optimizing pipelines, working with large volumes of data, and collaborating with Machine Learning and engineering teams, we want you on our team!

What you'll do

✔ Design and implement scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
✔ Build and optimize cloud data architectures (AWS / Azure).
✔ Manage data flows from multiple sources, ensuring quality and integrity.
✔ Implement and optimize storage architectures (data lakes and data warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, ClickHouse).
✔ Develop and maintain messaging and streaming systems (Kafka, Benthos) and orchestration systems (Airflow, DBT, NiFi).
✔ Document processes, pipelines, and data architectures clearly and professionally to facilitate understanding and reuse by other teams.
✔ Collaborate with ML teams to provide data for training, inference, and monitoring.
✔ (Advanced plus) Experiment with vector databases and RAG techniques to integrate data into generative applications.
