The role
Job Ref ID: JR0088527
At Glovo, we are looking for a hands-on, analytical Finance Insights Sr. Analyst to join our Finance Performance department at our Barcelona headquarters, reporting directly to the Finance Insights Manager. In this role, you will safeguard the accuracy and delivery of our core financial reporting packages across month-end closing windows, maintaining the single source of truth for metrics like GMV and Contribution Margin across all Glovo countries. Beyond recurring reporting, you will serve as the hands-on automation and AI champion for the team—building automated data pipelines, Looker models, and workflow automations that eliminate manual tasks and elevate business decision-making.
What you'll do
Own the end-to-end execution of Glovo’s internal financial reporting package, ensuring zero-defect delivery across strict month-end deadlines
Maintain and defend the logic for core business metrics (GMV, Contribution Margin, unit economics), ensuring consistency across financial statements, dashboards, and regional reports.
Partner closely with Fintech Data and BI engineers to design, test, and troubleshoot data models, SQL queries, and Looker dashboards to eliminate reporting lag.
Build practical automation solutions using SQL, Python, workflow automation tools (Make, Zapier, RPA), and AI tools to eliminate recurring manual data preparation across the department.
Move beyond reporting numbers by analyzing variances, drilling into order-level unit economics, and delivering clear data cuts to support HQ FP&A and Local Finance decisions.
Serve as the operational translator between business finance teams and technical engineering teams, resolving logic bottlenecks and rolling out schema updates for new product features.
