Requirements

What we're looking for

- Professional technical degree in telecommunications or radio systems.

- Experience: between 1 and 3 years of experience in mobile network drive testing, radio measurements, or RAN-related activities, performing field measurements and subsequent data analysis. Multi-vendor environments.

- Theoretical and practical knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR.

- Basic knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP, and HTTP.

- Availability to travel regularly throughout the national territory.

The role

We are a telecommunications operator present in the Spanish market since 2008, offering fixed and mobile telephone and internet services, as well as television. We have our own high-performance fiber optic network that allows us to be leaders in internet access speed; and focused on the residential segment, we have our own stores and a wide distribution network for the commercialization of our services throughout Spain.

We belong to the DIGI Communications Group with over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. Originating from Romania, where we have our main business, we are also present, in addition to Spain, in Portugal, Italy, and Belgium.

At DIGI, we need to recruit a Drive Test Technician profile who will have the following responsibilities and functions:

What you'll do

- Perform field measurements of radio parameters in LTE and NR networks.

- Configure and use different mobile devices and Drive Test tools.

- Analyze the data obtained and prepare the corresponding reports.

- Field verification of the parameters configured in the mobile network.

- Collaborate with the engineering and optimization departments.

- Propose improvements for network optimization and department activities.

- Support the onboarding of new colleagues and train them in the use of specific applications and tools.
