At DomusVi, we continue to grow. With the opening of our new residential center DomusVi Gavà Ciutat, located in Gavà, we are looking to recruit a social educator who wants to be part of an exciting, innovative project with a clear purpose: caring for people.
Promote the autonomy, inclusion, and personal development of users through accompaniment, educational support, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
What you'll do
- Control and scheduled records, and noting incidents.
- Collaborate with staff in carrying out activities and therapies programmed for users and in monitoring the adaptation process of people entering the center for the first time.
- Help and educate regarding the materials that people with disabilities need in their personal lives and in their activities of daily living.
- Perform accompaniment functions for users during medical outings and accompaniment during hospital admissions.
- Collaborate in conceptual, social, and practical training tasks developed by qualified technical staff.
- Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team through the performance of elementary tasks that complement specialized services, in order to promote personal autonomy and the training of users.
