We are hiring: IT Functional Analyst – Insurance Sector (Host Technologies and/or Open Environments)

What you'll do

  • Analyze and document functional and technical-functional requirements for core Life processes:
    for example: policy issuance, quotation/rating, underwriting, premiums/collections, endorsements, surrenders, maturities, sums assured, beneficiaries, life claims management, and payments.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications (user stories, business rules, acceptance criteria, use cases).
  • Define calculation rules and typical Life validations (sum assured, premiums, frequency, surcharges, waiting periods, exclusions, beneficiaries, etc.) and their traceability in systems.
  • Participate in the analysis of end-to-end flows impacting back office and core:
    issuance/administration, transactions, technical accounting, reconciliations, reporting.
  • Work on integration scenarios between Host and open environments:
    • analysis of interfaces and services/APIs,
    • definition of contracts (inputs/outputs), mappings, and transformations,
    • coordination of dependencies between systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams (development/QA/architecture) on:
    • impact analysis,
    • incident resolution (including production),
    • change and enhancement management.
  • Prepare and execute functional tests, integration tests, and support UAT, including the design of test cases, data, and validation of results.
  • Ensure traceability requirement → design → development → testing → deployment (and documentation version control).
