Working as a Delicatessen Professional at the Gourmet Club means being part of a benchmark space in gastronomy within El Corte Inglés, where product quality, expert knowledge, and personalized service make the difference. You will contribute to offering a careful and distinctive shopping experience, aligned with the highest standards of the Gourmet Club.
Main duties and requirements.
- Serve and advise customers on the delicatessen assortment, providing information on origin, preparation, pairing, and storage, to guide their purchasing decisions and increase the average ticket.
- Carry out tastings, samplings, and promotional activities scheduled in the space, to drive sales and introduce new items in the assortment.
- Set up merchandise at the counter, display case, and self-service shelves following the department's criteria, to ensure visual appeal and accurate pricing information.
- Monitor product rotation, preservation, and expiration dates, and communicate upcoming expirations, to minimize shrinkage in a high-value assortment.
- Apply hygiene, preservation, and food safety standards when handling and displaying products, to ensure compliance with health regulations.
We offer full-time contracts with rotating weekly shifts, or weekend and holiday coverage during business hours. We will especially value experience in hospitality, delicatessen counters, as well as in similar specialty food stores.
