Requirements

What we're looking for

Education: Vocational Training (FP) in electrical installations or similar.

At least 2 years of experience as a foreman in the assembly/maintenance of electrical installations.

Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.

IT skills.

Driving license B.

Nice to have

Valuable training related to the position: basic level of OSH (50/60 hours), working at heights, low voltage work, etc.

The role

At Grupo Elecnor, we are looking to hire an Electrical Site Foreman in Pontevedra-Vigo to supervise construction, assembly, and maintenance work on the MV-HV alternating current distribution network.

What you'll do

Review of personnel reports.

Site setting out.

Approval of site measurements.

Execution control of:

- Electrical assembly and maintenance of high voltage switchgear

- Assembly, renovation, and disassembly of metal structures

- Assembly and maintenance of low voltage electrical installations (control wiring, lighting, power, fire protection, etc.)

- Laying and connection of high and low voltage cables.

- Handling of machinery such as: elevating platform, pulling machine, small electric and mechanical hand tools.

- Local operation maneuvers in substations and fault resolution.
