Do you have experience in the maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure? At Grupo Elecnor we are looking for a Substation Technician (SSEE) to join our team in A Coruña / Pontevedra.

Your mission will be to ensure the correct operation, switching and commissioning of High Voltage installations, taking part in both preventive/corrective maintenance and the technical execution of new projects.

What will your main duties be?

• Assembly and electrical maintenance work on high voltage switchgear
• Refurbishment and dismantling of metal structures
• Assembly and maintenance work on low voltage electrical installations (control wiring, lighting, power, fire protection systems, etc.)
• Laying and connection of high and low voltage cables.
• Duties as preventive resource / works supervisor.
• Operation of machinery such as: aerial work platforms, small electric and mechanical hand tools.
• Local operation switching in substations and fault resolution.

Education: Vocational training in electrical installations or similar

Relevant training for the position will be valued: basic occupational risk prevention level 50/60 hours, work at height, low voltage work, etc.

Driving licence B

At least 2 years of experience in substation assembly/maintenance
