About the role

At Elecnor we are looking to hire a Gas Maintenance and Emergency Response Technician residing in Cantabria to carry out maintenance work and respond to incidents on natural gas and propane distribution networks (up to 16 Bar), technical installations (ERMs, LNG, LPG) and receiving installations.

Your main duties:

Emergency Response: Receiving alerts assigned by the client and securing distribution networks (natural gas/LPG) and receiving and individual installations.

Operational Maintenance: Executing the preventive and corrective maintenance plan on polyethylene and steel networks up to 16 Bar, ERMs, LNG/LPG plants and IRGs.

Field Management: Autonomous organisation of daily work, resolving incidents on pipelines and equipment at the network site.

Use of Technical Equipment: Daily use of gas detectors with pump for leak location, explosimeters, odorisation control, digital pressure recorders and pressure gauges.

Requirements

Minimum requirements (Mandatory):

Residence: Permanent address in Cantabria.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in maintenance and emergency response for gas distribution networks (up to 16 Bar), polyethylene/steel, ERMs, LNG/LPG plants and IRGs.

Mandatory certifications:

Sedigas certifications: TAU-TOD (Emergency Response and Domestic Operations Technician).

Gas Installer Licence IGB or IGA.

Driving licence: Valid type B.

Technical knowledge: Familiar with gas regulations.

Work environments: Experience working in ATEX environments and confined spaces.

IT skills: User-level proficiency in Windows environment, Internet and MS Office package.

Valuable requirements:
