The role

What you'll do

  1. Administer, maintain, and provide advanced support to the corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, directory services, network services, Microsoft platforms, and associated infrastructure components.
  2. Participate in the operation and evolution of infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows and Linux servers, storage, backup systems, virtualization, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and other related corporate services.
  3. Supervise and maintain the correct functioning of the technological infrastructure, including servers, communications, network elements, network electronics, security devices, and corporate platforms.
  4. Perform the analysis and resolution of advanced-level technical incidents, both remotely and on-site, identifying the root cause, proposing corrective actions, and coordinating resolution with other technical teams or providers when necessary.
  5. Participate in projects for the implementation, evolution, and integration of IT solutions, providing technical specifications, impact analysis, requirement validation, and support during the deployment and production phases.
  6. Collaborate in the design, deployment, and maintenance of LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks, as well as in the resolution of incidents related to connectivity, VPN, firewalls, basic routing, and network services.

Currently, for our Madrid headquarters, we are looking for an IT Expert in Communications

Mission

Provide advanced technical support and participate in the administration, maintenance, and evolution of ENGIE's IT infrastructure in Spain, covering systems, servers, corporate services, Microsoft platforms, connectivity, and communications, as support for business needs and the operational continuity of facilities and users.

The position will have a transversal view of infrastructure, combining operation, incident resolution, participation in projects, technical documentation, continuous improvement, and coordination with internal and external providers. The objective is to guarantee the availability, security, stability, and evolution of the technological services under its scope of responsibility.

Minimum requirements

  • University degree in Systems Informatics, Telecommunications, or equivalent
  • Experience in administering Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
  • Knowledge of identity management, Active Directory, Entra ID, OKTA OIG.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure services, file sharing, backup, monitoring, and patch management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and administration of cloud or hybrid services.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and corporate infrastructure platforms.
  • Basic or intermediate knowledge of networks: LAN, WLAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, basic routing, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting.
