What are we looking for?

What you'll do

The duties to be performed are:

  • Organization, management, and technical execution of automation projects related to monitoring and control of environmental and process parameters.

  • Design, programming, and commissioning of PLC controllers from the leading brands on the market under IEC 61131 standards and internal regulations.

  • Integrate typical Industry 4.0 and big data elements into the control platform by developing associated drivers and software.

  • Integration of PLC platforms into IT, IIT, and OT systems.

  • Actively participate in the commissioning and maintenance tasks required by the project, either on site or by supporting personnel deployed in the field.

  • Customer service regarding all aspects of the developed project.

  • Technological and market monitoring.

What we're looking for

The requirements you should meet are:

  • Industrial Technical Engineering, specializing in Electronics and Automation, or a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, or a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering specializing in Electronics and Automation/Master's in Electronics and Automation. Higher vocational training cycles related to Electronics and Automation will also be considered.

  • Experience with Phoenix Contact and Siemens PLCs (other brands will be considered an advantage).

  • User-level knowledge of electrical design software.

  • English: B2 level or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced development of control and data acquisition systems using PLC platforms.

Valuable Technical Requirements

  • Knowledge of PLC programming according to IEC 61131-3, especially Structured Text (ST/SCL).

  • Experience with PLCs from manufacturers such as Phoenix Contact, Beckhoff, Codesys, or other industrial platforms.

  • Other industrial communication protocols, such as MQTT, Profinet, Profibus, IO-Link, etc.

  • Development of drivers, interfaces, or communication blocks for industrial devices.

  • Development of automation systems and control sequences.

  • Version control using Git.

  • Experience with software integration and deployment tools.

  • Basic knowledge of industrial cybersecurity, network segmentation, and best practices in IT/OT architectures.

  • Experience in commissioning industrial installations.

  • Experience in air quality networks (emission and immission) and/or weather stations is highly valued.
