Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation.
Experience in PLC programming and modification.
Solid knowledge of Motion Control.
Experience programming in Structured Text (ST).
High level of English for communication with international customers.
Previous experience in Service, Technical Support, After-sales, or Field Service departments.
Availability to travel approximately 30% of the time internationally.

We are looking for an Automation Software Engineer (PLC, SCADA & HMI) to expand one of our teams in Mataró.

What you'll do

As an Automation Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

Providing technical support to national and international customers regarding installed industrial equipment.
Diagnosing automation incidents and analyzing the root cause of problems.
Implementing software modifications and improvements in PLC, HMI, and control systems.
Participating in commissioning, validation, and after-sales support activities.
Programming new functionalities and performing modifications on existing software.
Working with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and/or Codesys technologies.
Supporting production and collaborating with the Software department when there are no customer interventions.
Participating in projects related to motion control, servomotors, and motion systems.
Performing remote and on-site interventions at customer facilities.
Preparing technical documentation and service reports.
Maintaining close communication with customers and internal teams to ensure the correct resolution of incidents.
