Civil Works Quality Technician

Among others, the following tasks to be performed by the on-site technician are highlighted:

· Control and Supervision of construction.

· Supervision of the project Engineering.· Quality Assurance, review of the testing plan submitted by the contractor, as well as management of the contrast testing plan.

· Material control.

· Environmental control; review and verification of compliance with the specific Environmental Management Plan for the works to be prepared by the contractor.

· Deadline control.

· Budget control; through topographic support, they will carry out control of progress and use of construction materials.

· Attendance and preparation of minutes for the follow-up meetings that will be held according to the frequency set by the client.

· Specific supervision of the installation of the waterproofing treatment, verifying quality control; testing of welds and materials, carried out by the contractor.

· Issuance of reports: A weekly report will be prepared, collecting the status and progress of the works.

· A monthly report will be prepared, with a summary of the progress of the works, along with certifications, as well as bulletins of the contrast tests executed during the month.

· Specific reports will be prepared, reflecting any modification to the project authorized by the client.

The candidate will be hired in a laboratory in A Coruña, but must be deployed on-site at the Alcoa industrial plant in San Ciprián-Xove (Lugo).

Higher or intermediate vocational technician. A technician who will carry out the daily supervision of a dike raising project, meaning they will be on-site from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:30 hrs, with the works estimated to last 16 months.
