Railway Maintenance Technician — S453 Cercanías

• Experience and/or knowledge in maintenance of railway rolling stock.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Training: Intermediate Vocational Training (FP de Grado Medio) (Railway Rolling Stock, Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, or similar).

• Experience in passenger trains and/or commuter trains (cercanías), metro, tram, or railway fleets in operation.
• Disability certificate ≥ 33%.
• Authorization for the handling of fluorinated gases (RD 115/2017).
• Knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical diagnosis applied to rolling stock.

You will be part of a key team to guarantee the safety, reliability, and availability of rolling stock, contributing directly to the quality of the railway service.

Your main responsibilities:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance on railway rolling stock and its various subsystems.
• Location, diagnosis, and repair of faults, including:

- Replacement of components, adjustments, verifications, assembly, and disassembly of equipment.

- Assembly and disassembly of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.

• Real-time incident management and collaboration with engineering in technical analysis.
• On-track technical assistance, intervening in faults during operation.
• Participation in train homologation and commissioning tests.
• Detect, communicate, and document technical incidents, collaborating with supervision and engineering teams in their analysis and resolution.
• Registration and traceability of the interventions performed, tasks, and compliance with established procedures.
• Collaborate in the management of materials, spare parts, and means necessary for the execution of the work.
• Contribute to compliance with safety, quality, availability, and fleet reliability standards.
• Actively participate in the improvement of maintenance processes within a technologically advanced environment.
