WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A PLANNING AND CONTROL TECHNICIAN (railway sector)?

What you'll do

  • Prepare monthly planning for different clients and fleets, taking into account the cycles established in the vehicle maintenance plans and updated counters.
  • Prepare weekly planning for different clients and fleets, taking into account the cycles established in the vehicle maintenance plans and updated counters.
  • Prepare daily schedules of the activities to be performed, taking into account the maintenance plan cycles, the counters, and the human and material resources required for the activities.

  • Coordinate and carry out the withdrawal of vehicles from commercial service for the execution of maintenance interventions.
  • Verify the conditions of personnel, tools, materials, and documentation, detecting blocking elements before the start of activities.
  • Inform your immediate superior of any element that impacts the progress of operations.
  • Keep the planning up to date and, if necessary, replan any activity that has not been carried out, regardless of the cause or origin.
  • Propose corrective actions to your immediate manager and other personnel involved to achieve the objective in case of deviations.
  • Verify the Fitness for Service (APS) performed by the FIV Maintenance Execution and issue the Return to Service, reporting any possible use restrictions. And if necessary, issue circulation condition reports based on the information provided by the FIV.
  • Prepare the Monthly Activity Reports for the different contracts/projects.
