The role

We are currently looking for an Industrial Process Leader to join our team in Celrà. The main mission of the position is to lead the implementation of new chemical processes in our production plants, coordinating technology transfer from R&D to Production and collaborating closely with different departments and international clients.

Mission: To manage, in coordination with Production, R&D, Engineering, and the rest of the departments involved, the implementation of new chemical processes, originating from third parties, into the production units, guaranteeing their correct execution and alignment with the global planning of the site.

What you'll do

  • Develop deep scientific and technical knowledge of the projects to facilitate technology transfer to the plant, collaborating in process development and driving the implementation of new technologies and industrial solutions.
  • Lead and supervise the commissioning of new processes in the plant. Participate in the training of plant technicians as well as area managers.
  • Lead the commissioning activities of new industrial processes, coordinating the necessary resources to guarantee their safe and efficient implementation. Likewise, collaborate in the training of plant teams and area managers to ensure the correct execution of the implemented processes.
  • Participate in Core-teams as a Production representative.
  • Attend internal project meetings and meetings with international clients: conference calls, face-to-face meetings...
  • Accompany international clients during technical visits at the site.
  • Proactively evaluate, together with Production/Engineering, the possible investments necessary for the industrialization of new processes.
  • Manage the generation, review, and monitoring of technical documentation associated with the implementation of new processes, ensuring compliance with established deadlines. Prepare reports, change controls, manufacturing sheets, flow diagrams, QRAs, schedules, research reports, etc.
  • Collaborate in the transfer of processes to other Esteve CDMO work centers (Mexico, China, Catalonia,...)
