About the role

We are looking for professionals with degrees in Food Engineering, Food Technology, Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine, or related fields to work as a Food Quality and Safety Systems Auditor.
Main responsibilities:

What you'll do

  • Conduct audits according to client requirements.
  • Plan and follow up on assigned activities.
  • Coordinate and execute assigned sample collections when applicable.
  • Document and control management indicators associated with their duties.
  • Execute activities according to company standards.
  • Prepare audit reports.
  • Cooperate with the Entity's Technical Manager for Certification.

Education & certifications

Exclusive requirements:

  •  Minimum 3 months of experience as an auditor or in similar roles at a Certification Body. Experience in a technical or similar position in agri-food companies in the primary and/or secondary sector will be valued.
  • Proficiency in conducting audits of quality, food safety, and/or environmental standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, IFS, BRC Food, BRC Packaging)
  • Intermediate or advanced PC Office skills (Word, Excel, PPT).
  • Availability to travel to other regions.
  • Class B driver's license.

Requirements

Basic education:

·       Bachelor's, Licentiate, or graduate degree (Biologist, Chemist, Pharmacist, Veterinarian, Agronomist, Agricultural Technical Engineer, Food Science and Technology).

·       Intermediate or advanced vocational training in agri-food studies.

Additional training:

·       General knowledge of regulations and legislation in the agri-food field.

·       Knowledge of the certification process.

·       General knowledge of ISO 17065.

·       Training in Animal Welfare; certification for the Welfair Quality® protocol will be valued.
