What we're looking for

Minimum experience in the position.

The role

At Eurofirms, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join on a stable basis (permanent contract) in a company located in Canovelles (Barcelona). The selected person shall perform the following functions:

What you'll do

- Carry out start-up and shutdown tasks for facilities at the beginning and end of the week.

- Corrective and preventive maintenance: repairing equipment, machinery, or facilities that have suffered a breakdown or are stopped or working in poor conditions, replacing wear parts before a breakdown occurs.

- Changing molds on molding machines. Training the mold changeover team.

- Document in the computerized maintenance management system all maintenance actions or work orders, entering the data requested by the system: start and end time of the intervention, spare parts used, and actions performed.

- Submit purchase requests to the purchasing manager for the spare parts needed to carry out their work.

- Periodic inventories in the spare parts warehouse and fixed assets area.

- Reporting any mishap that could lead to the deterioration of the resources at their disposal.

- Maintaining order in their workstation, which includes the maintenance workshop, the area surrounding the production machine or facilities where work has been carried out, cooling towers, and water storage pools.

- Among other tasks inherent to the job position.
