Product Convergence and Quality Manager - Automotive

We are looking for professionals with the ability to lead quality projects transversally and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments. We will especially value:

• Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Experience in product quality management.
• Knowledge and application of APQP and PPAP methodologies.
• Experience in risk analysis using DFMEA and PFMEA.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, QRQC, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.
• Experience in product validation and maturity monitoring.
• Knowledge of Project Quality Management.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and product specifications.
• Experience in managing risks associated with product development.

As Product Convergence and Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the convergence of product quality throughout its entire development cycle, from the initial design phases to the start of mass production. Your mission will consist of ensuring that the product reaches the required level of maturity at each project milestone, coordinating the resolution of issues, managing risks, and promoting the implementation of actions that allow the established quality standards to be met.

• Lead product quality convergence throughout all phases of the project.
• Develop and monitor the Quality Convergence Plan.
• Coordinate maturity reviews and the different Quality Gates of the project.
• Supervise the evolution of quality indicators and their dashboard.
• Manage the registration, monitoring, and closure of issues detected during development.
• Identify potential product risks and coordinate the necessary preventive actions.
• Lead structured problem resolution using quality methodologies.
• Participate in technical reviews, functional validations, prototype manufacturing, and reliability testing.
• Ensure the correct management and monitoring of detected non-conformities.
• Coordinate quality preparation for the Start of Production (SOP).
• Monitor quality results during the initial phases of mass production.
• Drive product stabilization and the capitalization of lessons learned for future developments.
• Act as a quality reference within the project team, collaborating with the various areas involved and with external suppliers.
