What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Product Manager or in similar functions, preferably in product development project management.
University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams (R&D, Quality, Operations, Purchasing, Commercial).
Knowledge in project management, feasibility analysis, and KPI tracking.
Proficiency in project management tools, PLM, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Organized and proactive profile with the ability to communicate with clients, oriented towards deadlines and results.

The role

At Fritz&Muller we are working with an international leading company in its sector and we are looking for a Product Development Manager to join their team in Valencia. The candidate we are looking for may come from sectors such as cosmetics, consumer goods, packaging, food, etc...

The selected person will be responsible for directing their portfolio of projects from start to finish, acting as a link between the R&D, Quality, Operations, Purchasing and Commercial teams, guaranteeing that each project is executed within the deadline, cost, and margin committed to the client.

What you'll do

Direct the projects in their portfolio from start to finish: scope, work plan, milestones, deadline, and launch.
Coordinate R&D, Quality, Operations, Purchasing, and Commercial in each project, defining what each area contributes, when, and with what result.
Manage the feasibility analyses and testing required by their projects.
Track the KPIs of their projects, reporting the actual status and progress.
Maintain the cost and margin committed to the client from project approval through to production.
Coordinate the definition of packaging, artwork, and materials associated with the product when they form part of the project scope.
Be the direct interlocutor for the client in their projects, actively pursuing answers and validations so that the project is not delayed.
Accompany the industrialization of the product, closing startup issues with Operations and Quality.
Manage project documentation and ensure its registration in PLM.
Resolve and coordinate issues within their projects, escalating the appropriate blockages or decisions.
Attend industry fairs and analyze trends, products, and solutions that may generate opportunities.
Propose new ranges, products, improvements, or updates based on the needs of customers, the market, and the company's strategy.
