The role

We are looking for a Document Controller to join a Data Center project in Madrid. The person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the project's document control system, ensuring the correct management, traceability, quality, and availability of all documentation generated during the execution of the works.

They will act as the point of reference for the project's document management, ensuring the correct use of EDMS platforms such as Procore or equivalent tools and collaborating closely with site, engineering, contractor, and client teams.

What you'll do

  • Manage and administer the electronic document management system (EDMS), including workflows, access permissions, and documentation distribution.
  • Guarantee the quality, traceability, and version control of all project documentation.
  • Provide support to project teams and departments in document management and in compliance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate the collection, validation, and delivery of documentation generated by contractors and subcontractors.
  • Train and support project teams in the use of document control tools and procedures.
  • Coordinate the preparation of final dossiers, handover documentation, and operation and maintenance documentation.
  • Collaborate with site teams in the management of records, assets, and documentation associated with the project handover.
  • Prepare reports and monitor the status of documentation for project managers.
