What we're looking for

  • Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, specializing in Electricity.
  • More than 8 years of experience in industrial projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center projects or critical environments (hospitals, airports, or other mission-critical facilities).
  • Experience in medium and low voltage electrical installations and management of critical electrical systems.
  • Experience in subcontractor management, planning, production control, and costs.
  • Knowledge of design and construction coordination, engineering review, electrical commissioning, and FAT/SAT testing management.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Revit MEP, Navisworks, ETAP, Microsoft Project, or Primavera.
  • English level B2 (C1 is a plus).
  • Certification as a High and/or Low Voltage Electrical Installer is valued.

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join Data Center projects for a national client in Madrid. The person will be responsible for leading the electrical discipline during the execution, coordination, commissioning, and energization phases of critical facilities, ensuring compliance with project quality, safety, deadline, and cost standards.

What you'll do

  • Lead the electrical discipline during project execution.
  • Coordinate interfaces and work with mechanical and CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) disciplines.
  • Manage the installation and commissioning of critical electrical equipment, including transformers, generators, UPS, STS, PDU, EPMS, and SCADA systems.
  • Manage equipment procurement, supplier follow-up, and participation in contracting processes.
  • Prepare technical and economic comparisons, as well as perform cost and production monitoring.
  • Supervise FAT and SAT testing, electrical commissioning activities, energizations, and commissioning of facilities.
  • Participate in meetings with the client, engineering firms, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support the legalization and commissioning processes of electrical installations.
