As the strategic leader of the assigned area, the Area Manager ensures the sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the branches under their charge. They are directly responsible for the management and development of the Branch Managers and their teams, the optimization of the machinery fleet, and the fulfillment of the economic and commercial objectives set by Alayan for their development area.
Responsibilities:
1. REGIONAL COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AREA
- Regional market development: Lead and drive the growth of the machinery and equipment rental business throughout the entire assigned zone
- Profitability: Guarantee the execution of rental contracts that bring value and high profitability to the company, ensuring compliance with margins and official rates.
- Portfolio Acquisition and Sustainability: Design and drive commercial actions for the continuous acquisition of new B2B customers, as well as the systematic monthly recovery of inactive or lost accounts.
- Customer Service / Service Quality: Ensure an agile and efficient response to customer demands to position Alayan as a service benchmark in the region.
- Key Account Visits and Negotiation: Conduct strategic commercial visits to large accounts, corporate clients, and high-value prospects alongside Branch Managers and the commercial team.
- Fleet Optimization and Profitability: Manage the machinery fleet assigned to the Levante zone, maximizing financial and operational utilization coefficients.
- Fleet Planning and Control (CDRS): Ensure that local teams always keep the Fleet Planner (CDRS) updated in real time.
- Negotiation with Local Suppliers: Lead negotiations with regional suppliers to obtain the best conditions regarding price, terms, and service quality in external workshops, transport, and maintenance.
- Management by Objectives: Manage, direct, and supervise Branch Managers and their teams, guaranteeing the fulfillment of individual and collective KPIs.
- Culture and Service Standards: Ensure compliance with customer service standards and promote behaviors aligned with professional ethics and the TESYA Group Values.
- Recruitment and Talent Attraction: Actively participate alongside Human Resources in the selection and onboarding process of personnel for their zone.
- Regional Training Plans: Drive the continuous Training Plan for the Levante zone team in coordination with Human Resources.
- Operational Planning and Rosters: Manage the schedules, shifts, and Vacation Plan of their team, always guaranteeing coverage to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Motivation and Professional Development: Maintain a motivating work environment focused on achieving results and on the personal and professional development of their team members.
