How you'll work

The role is primarily intended to be on-site, as it involves frequent use of our laboratory, measurement equipment, electronic prototypes, and physical devices.

However, for an exceptional candidate with particularly strong experience and technical ability, we are open to considering a different or more flexible working arrangement.

A partially remote arrangement may also become possible over time, depending on the candidate's responsibilities and the status of the projects.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of digital and analogue electronics.
  • Experience designing electronic circuits and PCBs.
  • Experience developing firmware for microcontrollers.
  • Knowledge of C and/or C++.
  • Ability to use oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers, and other laboratory equipment.
  • Experience with protocols such as SPI, I²C, UART, USB, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret datasheets, schematics, and technical documentation.

  • Experience with Nordic, STM32, ESP32, or similar microcontrollers.
  • Experience with Zephyr RTOS, nRF Connect SDK, FreeRTOS, or other embedded operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy and 2.4 GHz wireless communications.
  • Experience with inertial sensors, sensor fusion, and positioning systems.
  • Knowledge of low-power design and battery-powered devices.
  • Experience with battery chargers, DC-DC converters, LDOs, ESD protection, and power management.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing, testing, and mass production.
  • Knowledge of EMC, RF, signal integrity, and product certification.
