Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
  • Solid programming knowledge in C and/or C++.
  • Fluent English level to work in an international environment.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded architectures.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or Ethernet.
  • Experience using hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
  • Understanding of hardware-software integration and system-level debugging.
  • Ability to analyze technical problems and propose efficient solutions.

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our engineering team and participate in the design, development, validation, and maintenance of firmware for embedded systems. The selected person will work closely with hardware, software, and systems teams to ensure the correct integration of technological solutions, while also contributing to the performance optimization and quality of our products.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems and hardware devices
  • Program, debug, and optimize code in C and C++.
  • Develop and integrate low-level software for the control of hardware components and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to ensure correct integration of solutions.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and analysis of firmware issues.
  • Analyze system performance, memory usage, and resource consumption.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including firmware specifications and testing procedures.
  • Provide support in hardware validation, systems integration, and product verification activities.
  • Investigate and resolve defects detected during the development and testing phases.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

How you'll work

  • You will have a permanent contract and flexible hours
  • On-site modality at the Sant Cugat del Vallès office (3-4 days/week).
  • Free parking and good public transport connections from Barcelona.
  • You will have a PC and the necessary peripherals for your work.
  • You will work in an international environment.
