What you'll do
As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting dialysis care for patients with chronic kidney disease. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, assist patients throughout their entire treatment process, and help maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety, making a true difference every day.
- Accompany the patient from their entry into the clinic, assisting them during their stay at the center, taking an interest in their general condition and any changes since their last dialysis, and collaborating in the transfer of dependent patients.
- Provide all necessary care to the patient by applying corporate protocols, as well as monitoring and recording the patient's temperature and weight at the beginning and end of dialysis.
- Support the nursing team in the administration of prescribed medication, as well as in performing the dialysis treatment according to the defined prescription and current operating procedures and guidelines, ensuring correct service to the patient.
- Report any alteration detected in patients and/or in the monitor or consumable material to be used for Dialysis treatment.
- Check and prepare monitors and other materials prior to performing hemodialysis, according to internal instructions and protocols, checking the medical regimen of each patient.
