Room Attendant / Housekeeping

🔔 We are offering a Housekeeping Attendant position to work at El Fuerte Marbella, the first hotel founded by the company. It opened its doors in 1957 and, after a complete renovation, reopened in 2023 as a 5-star hotel.

El Fuerte Marbella, located on the beachfront in the center of Marbella, offers impressive sea views along the promenade and the Mediterranean, and is just a 5-minute walk from Plaza de los Naranjos. With 266 rooms combining casual luxury and a cozy atmosphere, without sacrificing spectacular Mediterranean views.

You will be responsible for cleaning the rooms assigned by your supervisor, as well as tidying, caring for, and maintaining in perfect condition the rooms and the common areas of the assigned floor, along with the cleaning supplies and equipment.

• Ensuring the achievement of the established departmental goals, as well as compliance with critical processes and area operations, in accordance with the hotel's standards.
• Set up the cart with the necessary materials to carry out the room cleaning tasks.
• Clean and tidy the rooms, checking the good condition of the facilities and furnishings, according to the standards established for each room type.
• Check and ensure that the room and bathroom have the necessary products and amenities, according to the standards set in the room styling manual.
• Handle the billing and restocking of minibar items consumed by guests.
• Inspect the condition of the rooms; in case of damage and/or malfunction, create a maintenance report.
• Keep track and record of the incidents reported in the assigned rooms.
• Carry out the inspection and check of vacant rooms.
• Collect and deliver forgotten items in the room to the Head Housekeeper.
• Carry out the cleaning of the corridor on the assigned floor.
• Keep the floor's service area organized, as well as the work materials used.
• Know and remember the guest's name and preferences while in the room.

🎓 Specific training in Housekeeping. A Head Housekeeper course is valued.

💼 Minimum experience of 2 to 3 years in the position in a 5-star and luxury segment environment. Experience with Leading Hotels of the World, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, or similar is valued.

🔔 Ofrecemos un puesto de Camarero/a de pisos para trabajar en El Fuerte Marbella, primer hotel que fundó la empresa. Abrió sus puertas en 1957 y, tras una completa renovación, reabrió en 2023 como un hotel de 5*.

El Fuerte Marbella, ubicado en primera línea de playa en el centro de Marbella, ofrece impresionantes vistas al mar a lo largo del paseo marítimo y del Mediterráneo, y se encuentra a sólo 5 minutos a pie de la Plaza de los Naranjos. Con 266 habitaciones, que combina el lujo casual, y un exquisito ambiente acogedor, sin prescindir de una espectaculares vistas al Mediterráneo.

Se encargará de realizar la limpieza de las habitaciones asignadas por su responsable. Así como ordenar, cuidar y mantener en perfecto estado, las habitaciones y lo relativo a las zonas comunes de la planta asignada, office y utensilios de limpieza.

• Velar por la consecución de los objetivos departamentales establecidos, así como el cumplimiento de los procesos críticos y puestas en escena del área, de acuerdo con los estándares establecidos por el hotel.
• Efectuar el montaje del carro con el material necesario para ejecutar el trabajo de limpieza de las habitaciones.
• Realizar la limpieza y arreglo de las habitaciones, comprobando el buen estado de las instalaciones y el mobiliario, según los estándares establecidos para cada tipo de habitación.
• Revisar y asegurar que la habitación y el baño dispone de los productos y accesorios necesarios, según los estándares establecidos en el manual de ambientación de habitaciones.
• Llevar a cabo la facturación y reposición de las consumiciones del minibar realizadas por los clientes.
• Supervisar el estado de las habitaciones, en caso de desperfecto y/o avería crear parte de mantenimiento.
• Llevar el control y registro de las incidencias registradas en las habitaciones asignadas.
• Realizar el control y repaso de las habitaciones libres.
• Recoger y entregar los objetos olvidados en la habitación a él/la Gobernante/a.
• Llevar a cabo la limpieza del pasillo de la planta asignada.
• Dejar ordenado el Office de la planta asignada, así como el material de trabajo utilizado.
• Conocer y recordar nombre y preferencias del cliente en habitación.
