As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing front office operations and supervising staff on a daily basis. This role involves making an effort to continuously improve guest and team member satisfaction and maximize the department's financial results. 

What you'll do

  • Provide an exceptional welcome experience to guests, demonstrating commitment to service excellence and maintaining front office operational standards.
  • Welcome guests and clients upon arrival and ensure they are comfortably settled in their rooms.
  • Maintain professional, honest, and open communication to assist guests and process reservations accurately.
  • Guide and support the team to deliver an outstanding welcome and overall experience to guests.
  • Ensure all daily tasks are carried out with precision and punctuality.
  • Resolve and respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts and contribute to the preparation of daily reports.
  • Effectively manage the team to meet budget targets.
  • Support the Hotel Manager in the recruitment of staff.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a hotel environment.
  • Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional guest service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
  • Understanding of fiduciary accounting (separation of payments and security deposits).
  • Passion for providing exceptional and proactive guest service.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
