What we're looking for
- University degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of data architectures, preferably in cloud environments.
- Experience in the design of scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized data platforms.
- Solid knowledge of data storage and processing architectures: Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse.
- Experience in the design of integration, ingestion, transformation, and data exploitation solutions through ETL/ELT processes.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and data processing and querying technologies.
- Experience in the definition of data models, quality, security, governance, and traceability.
- Knowledge of cloud architectures and their main storage, processing, integration, security, and monitoring services.
- Ability to define technical architectures, select technologies, and prepare design documentation and technical standards.
Nice to have
- Experience in data architectures on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, especially in platform migration or modernization projects.
- Experience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Spark, Kafka, dbt, Trino, Apache Iceberg, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with data catalog, lineage, and governance tools, such as OpenMetadata, Microsoft Purview, or equivalents.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployment automation, CI/CD practices, containers, and orchestration tools.
- Experience in the design of Lakehouse architectures, object storage, and open table formats.
- Knowledge of semantic modeling, definition of corporate metrics, and data exposure to BI tools, advanced analytics, or AI solutions.
- Experience in the definition of reference architectures, design patterns, best practices, and corporate standards.
- Ability to technically lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with development, infrastructure, security, and data governance managers.
Education & certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or equivalent cloud fundamentals certifications.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), especially Associate level or higher.
- Technical certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, Google Cloud, or other cloud data platforms.
- Certifications in cloud architecture, cloud security, or infrastructure as code.
