Required skills

Modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).

Data governance and integral data lifecycle management.

Knowledge of DataOps principles and practices.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning architectures.

Generative and Agentic AI ecosystem (RAG, agents, vector databases, AI Gateways).

Integration architectures through APIs and EDA (Event-Driven Architecture) patterns.

Technological evaluation, definition of RFIs/RFPs, and leadership of PoCs.

Analytical thinking and a critical vision regarding technological trends.

Communication and synthesis skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

Collaborative work in international and multidisciplinary environments.

Desirable skills

Knowledge of data virtualization.

Experience in cloud architectures oriented toward data and AI.

What other aspects are desirable?

University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related degrees.

At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, AI, technology strategy, or specialized consulting.

Experience in complex corporate environments with international scope.

Experience participating in technology selection and evaluation processes.

Knowledge of the ecosystem of leading data and artificial intelligence vendors and solutions.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders from different business areas.

English level high B2 or C1 (required) for international communication and interaction.

Fluent Spanish.

What will your mission be? 🎯

You will join the corporate Data & AI team within Telefónica's Technology area, responsible for defining and evolving the reference architectures for data and artificial intelligence for the entire Group.

Your mission will be to identify and evaluate emerging technologies, define standards and governance models, lead analysis and validation processes for solutions, and support the various operators in the adoption of corporate architectures that drive value creation through data and AI. You will be a key figure in connecting technological trends, strategy, and execution.

How will you contribute with your skills to the purpose of the role? 💼

Perform continuous technological monitoring in the fields of data, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence.

Analyze market trends and identify opportunities with potential application within Telefónica.

Coordinate and technically evaluate RFIs, RFPs, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).

Collaborate in the definition of reference architectures and corporate standards for data and AI.

Drive governance models that guarantee scalability, interoperability, and efficiency.

Act as a technical interlocutor between corporate areas, operators, and technology providers.

Facilitate the adoption of corporate architectures and support strategic decision-making.

Synthesize the technological and business impact of new solutions and trends.
