We are looking to bring on board a Property and Engineering Underwriter for a specialized team, where you will play a key role in the evaluation, analysis, and underwriting of risks, combining your technical knowledge with a business-oriented vision.

We are looking for professionals with experience in construction, engineering, inspection, loss adjusting, fire protection, or risk underwriting who want to take the next step in their career and continue growing within the insurance sector.

What you'll do

  • Analyze, evaluate, and underwrite Property and Engineering risks, ensuring a balance between profitability, technical quality, and underwriting policy.
  • Review technical documentation, inspection reports, and loss assessments for the proper evaluation of risks.
  • Define insurance conditions, coverages, limits, and improvement recommendations.
  • Evaluate industrial, commercial, and asset risks, identifying exposures and protection measures.
  • Collaborate with intermediaries, brokers, and other key stakeholders, providing solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Review risk inspection reports and assess aspects related to construction, installations, industrial safety, and fire protection.
  • Monitor the assigned portfolio from a technical standpoint, ensuring its quality and profitability.
  • Stay up to date on technical regulations, market trends, and the evolution of risks.

This position combines technical analysis, underwriting judgment, and business orientation in a specialized environment with a high level of interaction with clients and intermediaries.
