• Relevant experience in Property Underwriting for large companies.

• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

• Communication and commercial skills.

• Client- and business-focused mindset.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office package: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

• Proactivity and a collaborative team approach.

• Ability to communicate clearly and convey technical information in an understandable way to the different stakeholders of the business at both national and international levels.

The person will develop the role of Property Underwriter at Generali España for the business unit Global Corporate & Commercial, the Generali Group unit that provides P&C insurance coverage to medium and large companies, as well as international businesses. The unit operates globally and through an integrated approach at the Group level with a central management team and specialized teams active in different countries.

Within the GC&C unit, the person will be able to generate value by implementing and achieving the growth objectives of the strategic plan in Property Underwriting in Spain, based on property risk analysis, with technical knowledge of the area and under the guidelines of the area's underwriting manuals.

The main duties will be:

• Focus on new business according to the processes defined by the company, driving growth in the area.

• Manage the portfolio, focusing on complex renewals, always based on achieving good profitability in the area.

• Ensure compliance with reinsurance regulations and their reporting and acceptance levels.

• Work with the Risk & Loss Prevention function on risk analysis.

• Comply with processes and controls according to the underwriting level and delegated authority.

• Work based on the legal framework and guidelines established by the group.

• Proactively participate in the development of new products within the Property line, seeking solutions based on our "Life time partner" philosophy.

• Actively collaborate in maintaining the line with an insurance solution tailored to our clients' needs.

• Maintain an active commercial relationship with brokers to drive growth in the line and increase its visibility.

• Actively represent the line at conferences, events, etc.

• Manage the pipeline to achieve the generation of the plan.
