Senior Planning & Reporting Analyst Non-Life Insurance. (M/F)

The person will carry out the duties of Senior Planning & Reporting Analyst at Generali Spain for the Global Corporate & Commercial business unit, the Generali Group unit that provides P&C insurance coverage to medium and large companies, as well as to international businesses. The unit operates globally and through an integrated Group-wide approach with a central management team and specialized teams active in the different countries.

Within the GC&C unit, the person will provide support to the Iberia & Latam region, collaborating with different countries and functional areas to ensure a consolidated view of the financial performance, profitability, and strategic planning of the business.

In this position, they will be responsible for the financial planning, reporting, and profitability analysis processes for the Non-Life business, ensuring the quality of financial information and supporting decision-making through advanced analysis and process automation.

• Participate in the preparation of the 3-year Strategic Plan, defining growth and profitability targets.

• Coordinate the budget, forecast, and results monitoring processes.

• Perform monthly business monitoring through the analysis of the income statement, identifying deviations, risks, and opportunities.

• Analyze the profitability of the different Non-Life business lines.

• Prepare financial reporting and presentations for Regional Management and Group.

• Participate in the implementation and monitoring of IFRS 17.

• Collaborate with the Actuarial area in the analysis and monitoring of technical provisions, UBEL, and their impact on results.

• Develop financial models and automate reporting and planning processes.

• Promote the use of Artificial Intelligence tools to improve the efficiency, automation, and quality of financial analysis.

It will be a plus

• Knowledge of reinsurance and its impact on profitability and the income statement.

• Analytical skills, results orientation, and the ability to interact with multiple international stakeholders.

• Relevant experience in insurance companies, preferably in the Non-Life business.

• Experience in financial planning, management control, reporting, and insurance accounting.

• Knowledge of IFRS 17.

• Knowledge of actuarial concepts and technical provisions.

• Expert level in Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced modeling).

• Experience with Power BI.

• Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar).

La persona desarrollará las funciones de Senior Planning & Reporting Analyst en Generali España para la business unit Global Corporate & Commercial, la unidad del Grupo Generali que da cobertura de seguros de P&C a empresas medianas y grandes, así como a negocios internacionales. La unidad actúa a nivel global y a través de un enfoque integrado a nivel del Grupo con un equipo de gestión central y equipos especializados activos en los diferentes países.

Dentro de la unidad de GC&C la persona dará soporte a la región Iberia & Latam, colaborando con diferentes países y áreas funcionales para garantizar una visión consolidada del desempeño financiero, la rentabilidad y la planificación estratégica del negocio.

Desde esa posición será responsable de los procesos de planificación financiera, reporting y análisis de rentabilidad del negocio No Vida, asegurando la calidad de la información financiera y apoyando la toma de decisiones mediante análisis avanzados y automatización de procesos.

• Participar en la elaboración del Plan Estratégico a 3 años, definiendo objetivos de crecimiento y rentabilidad.

• Coordinar los procesos de presupuesto, forecast y seguimiento de resultados.

• Realizar el seguimiento mensual del negocio a través del análisis de la cuenta de resultados, identificando desviaciones, riesgos y oportunidades.

• Analizar la rentabilidad de las distintas líneas de negocio No Vida.

• Elaborar reporting financiero y presentaciones para Dirección Regional y Grupo.

• Participar en la implementación y seguimiento de IFRS 17.

• Colaborar con el área Actuarial en el análisis y seguimiento de provisiones técnicas, UBEL y su impacto en los resultados.

• Desarrollar modelos financieros y automatizar procesos de reporting y planificación.

• Impulsar el uso de herramientas de Inteligencia Artificial para mejorar la eficiencia, automatización y calidad del análisis financiero.
