What we're looking for

Experience as an Analyst Programmer in Mainframe environments.
Solid knowledge of COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
Experience in technical analysis and the evolution and maintenance of applications.
Ability to understand functional requirements and transform them into technical solutions.
Professional-level English (reading, documentation, and communication in international environments).

Nice to have

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Autonomy and a focus on code quality.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate across departments.

The role

At GFT, we are looking for a COBOL / CICS / DB2 Analyst to participate in the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical applications in Mainframe environments.

The position is aimed at profiles with a solid technical background in Host programming, capable of analyzing functional requirements, designing technical solutions, and collaborating with international teams on high-complexity projects.

What you'll do

Analysis, design, and development of applications in Mainframe environments.
Programming and maintenance of applications in COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
Development and execution of JCL for batch processes.
Analysis and resolution of incidents in production and non-production environments.
Participation in technical testing, validations, and deployments.
Collaboration with functional and technical teams to define solutions.
Technical and functional documentation of developments.
Interaction with international teams in English.
