What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Operations Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially with services such as RDS, EKS, and ElastiCache.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Experience in deployment automation using CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Node.js for process automation.
Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution in cloud environments.
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructures.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Availability to participate in on-call rotations.
Advanced English level (B2 minimum) is required.

The role

We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join GFT and collaborate on an international project in the insurance sector.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive person with extensive experience in Cloud environments, who wants to develop in a multicultural, dynamic, and challenging environment, participating in the operation, automation, and evolution of AWS-based platforms.

What you'll do

Your main responsibilities will be

Although they will depend on your profile and experience, in general your main duties would include:

Define and drive DevOps strategies and best practices alongside multidisciplinary teams.
Design and develop scalable, secure cloud solutions aligned with business requirements.
Automate deployment and infrastructure processes using CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code.
Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure and services, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the correct evolution of projects.
Participate in the design of new cloud solutions and platform improvements.
Stay up to date with new cloud technologies, market trends, and security best practices, proposing improvements and initiatives for innovation and cost optimization.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure service continuity when required.
