Requirements

What we're looking for

Demonstrable previous experience as a First-Class Panel Beater in comprehensive repair and bodywork reconstruction.
Technical mastery in the use of benches/pulling machines, welding (electric and TIG), and dent removal tools.

Nice to have

Valuable: Holding the Metal Professional Card (TPM) and/or accredited training in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL).

The role

At Gi Group, we are selecting a First-Class Panel Beater to join a leading workshop located in Madrid.

We are looking for a professional specialized in comprehensive bodywork repair, capable of leading the technical process from initial disassembly and structural reconstruction to the finish prior to the painting phase.

What you'll do

What will your main functions be? In your day-to-day, you will be the key piece for the recovery and structural adjustment of vehicles:

Disassembly and assembly: Handling of vehicle components, door plastics, linings, and trim.
Repair and shaping: Dent removal and continuous use of multifunction equipment / spotter (Pick).
Structural work: Extraction, squaring of dimensions, and bodywork correction through the use of pulling machines and benches.
Surface preparation: Filling, application of putty, and fine sanding for pre-painting preparation.
Technical joins: Specific electric and TIG welding work on sheet metal.

How you'll work

Contract type: Permanent contract from day one.
Working day and schedule: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:00 h (continuous working day). Friday: 08:00 to 15:00 h (intensive working day).
Collective agreement: Madrid Metal Collective Agreement.
Location and accessibility: Very good RENFE connections (having your own vehicle is not essential).
Equipment: PPE, work clothes provided by the company, and mandatory medical check-up included.
