Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience in workshop management and maintenance coordination (planning, task assignment, deadline control).
Knowledge in mechanical engineering and experience in construction machinery.
Knowledge and application of OSH and safety culture.
Communication skills for liaison with the client/owner and coordination with the Technical Office/Engineering and suppliers.

Education & certifications

Education: Technical Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical or similar) or Higher Degree (Mechatronics, Electromechanical Maintenance, Automation and Robotics or similar).

The role

Currently, from our specialized Mecánica 4.0 GI PRO line, we are looking for a Workshop and Projects Coordinator - Construction Machinery for an important multinational company located in Tarragona.

What you'll do

Comprehensive management of the workshop and intervention projects on construction machinery, ensuring quality, deadlines, and costs.
Daily planning of work and assignment of tasks to the team according to specialty, balancing the workload.
Daily liaison with the vehicle owner to coordinate interventions and follow-up.
Guarantee compliance with OSH and railway safety, including training and use of PPE.
Supervision of the final state of the vehicles and control of the use of original/homologated spare parts when applicable.
Coordination of suppliers/external resources and supervision of material purchases (especially during field assistance).
Ensure technical reporting of interventions and promote improvements regarding repetitive breakdowns alongside the Workshop and Technical Office/Engineering.
Lead and motivate the team to meet objectives and improve reliability and reduce breakdown costs.
