We are looking for an Event Manager to lead this area within the Marketing department and who is capable of converting a national and international calendar of fairs, competitions, and activations into well-planned, executed experiences that are consistent with the brand.

We are looking for a person who is highly organized, resourceful, and capable of coordinating teams and multiple projects at the same time, but also with a positive, approachable, and collaborative attitude. Someone who knows how to work under pressure without passing that pressure on to the team, who generates trust, and who contributes to making things work better around them.

They will be responsible for leading events from initial planning through to execution and evaluation, coordinating both internal teams and external suppliers and collaborators.

Knowledge of the cycling, outdoor, or sports world will be especially valued, although we will prioritize real experience managing complex events, teams, and projects.

What you'll do

· Design, organize, and maintain the annual events calendar, establishing priorities, needs, resources, and deadlines alongside the Marketing team and the involved areas.

· Lead the planning and execution of fairs, competitions, presentations, and brand activations at a national and international level.

· Coordinate the events team, temporary staff, agencies, suppliers, and internal teams involved in each project.

· Clearly define responsibilities, timings, and needs to ensure coordinated and efficient execution.

· Manage budgets, suppliers, spaces, production, transport, materials, and resources, monitoring costs and deadlines.

· Guarantee that each event correctly reflects the Gobik identity and offers a carefully curated experience to customers, partners, participants, and the public.

· Supervise on-the-ground operations, anticipate needs, and resolve incidents with agility and judgment.

· Maintain fluid and constructive communication with the different teams involved before, during, and after each event.

· Evaluate the results of each action, identify learnings, and propose improvements for future activations.

How you'll work

The position is based in Yecla (Murcia), where most of the Marketing team works and from where many of the events and trips are prepared.

We preferably seek a person who can be part of the team's day-to-day life from Yecla.

We will also value applications from people residing elsewhere, provided they can complete an initial stage of approximately six months working in person in Yecla. After that period, presence may be organized more flexibly depending on the events calendar, maintaining regular stays in Yecla and the necessary travel for the position.
