Requirements

What we're looking for

University teaching and/or research experience in the field of Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, and its applications to Psychology.
Specialized knowledge in cognitive neuroscience, biological bases of behavior, neuropsychology, cognitive processes, executive functions, and the relationship between brain and behavior.
Ability to provide teaching in subjects related to Neuroscience applied to Psychology.

Nice to have

Participation in research projects and the publication of scientific papers related to the area will be valued.
Accreditation for university teaching positions by ANECA or the corresponding regional agency.
Professional or research experience in neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, or related fields.
Experience in research and scientific publications related to Neuroscience and Psychology.

Education & certifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology.
PhD in Psychology or in related fields connected to Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, or Behavioral Sciences.

The role

CEU Fernando III University is initiating a selection process to recruit a university professor specializing in Neuroscience Applied to Psychology to provide teaching for the Degree in Psychology, within the specialization of Neuroscience Applied to Psychology, during the 2027-2028 academic year.

Competencies and skills

Ability to transmit scientific knowledge in a clear, rigorous, and didactic manner.
Ability to integrate neuroscientific knowledge into the understanding and assessment of psychological processes.
Strong communication, planning, and teamwork skills.
Interest in teaching innovation and the continuous improvement of teaching-learning processes.
