Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology.
University teaching experience and/or professional experience in the fields of Social Psychology, Group Psychology, and Community Psychology.
Specialized knowledge in group processes, dynamics and social interaction, leadership, group cohesion, interpersonal relationships, community intervention, and social participation.
Experience in the design and development of group and community intervention programs.

Nice to have

A PhD in Psychology or in related areas connected to Social, Group, or Community Psychology will be valued.
Participation in research projects and the publication of scientific papers related to these areas will be valued.
Accreditation for university teaching positions by ANECA or the corresponding regional agency.
Professional experience in community intervention, working with collectives, and group facilitation.
Research experience and scientific publications related to Social and Community Psychology.

The role

CEU Fernando III University is initiating a selection process to recruit a university professor specializing in Group Psychology and Community Psychology to teach in the Psychology Degree during the 2027-2028 academic year.

Competencies and skills

Ability to transmit knowledge in a clear, rigorous, and didactic manner.
Ability to relate the theoretical foundations of Social Psychology to their application in group and community contexts.
Strong communication, planning, and teamwork skills.
Interest in teaching innovation and the continuous improvement of teaching-learning processes.
