Senior Batch & File Transfer Administrator

We are looking for a technical profile with experience in the administration, operation, and monitoring of critical batch processes, as well as file transfer platforms such as BMC Control-M, Axway Secure Transport, and Editran.

The position requires experience working in critical production environments, the ability to resolve complex incidents, and solid knowledge of Linux systems, automation, and security.

Essential requirements

• Solid experience as a Senior Batch Platform Administrator.
• Experience in BMC Control-M administration.
• Experience in Axway Secure Transport administration.
• Experience in Editran administration.
• Knowledge and experience in managing Batch chains and dependencies.
• Experience in monitoring and tracking critical processes.
• Linux systems administration.
• Experience in incident resolution in production environments.
• Knowledge of automation using Shell / Bash.
• Experience in vulnerability management and patch application.
• Knowledge of hardening and platform maintenance.
• Ability for analysis and resolution of complex incidents.
• Ability to work coordinately with different technical teams.

What will you do?

• Administer and support Batch platforms in production environments.
• Administer BMC Control-M, managing chains, jobs, and dependencies.
• Administer Axway Secure Transport for secure file transfer.
• Administer and maintain Editran.
• Monitor and track critical batch processes.
• Manage executions, dependencies, and processing windows.
• Analyze and recover failed batch processes, performing the necessary reprocessing.
• Resolve technical incidents in production environments.
• Coordinate activities with Applications, Systems, and other technical teams.
• Apply patches, updates, and security measures.
• Manage changes and maintenance activities for the platforms.
• Perform hardening and maintenance tasks.
• Automate tasks using Shell/Bash.
• Manage vulnerabilities associated with the platforms.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.
