What we're looking for

At least 6 years of experience in the ICT field.
At least 4 years of experience in enterprise architecture definition and implementation.
Solid experience in microservices architecture and distributed architectures.
Experience in legacy application modernization.
Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), hexagonal architecture and Clean Architecture.
Design of REST APIs and an API First approach.
Knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, especially in Java environments.
Experience with containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architectures, especially Kafka.
Experience in Cloud environments: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in observability: logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.
Knowledge of resilience, fault tolerance, and security in APIs and microservices.
Experience in integration patterns, decoupling, and distributed databases.
Ability to define target architectures and establish technological patterns.

Nice to have

Knowledge of traditional architectures and legacy technologies, such as Adabas/Natural, Oracle, and J2EE.
Experience in the evolution and integration of heterogeneous systems.
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
Experience promoting standards, best practices, and component reuse.
Ability to coordinate and technically guide development teams.

The role

At Grupo NS, we are hiring a Cloud Architect to join a project in the Public Administration (AAPP) sector, participating in the definition, evolution, and supervision of enterprise technological architectures.

We are looking for a senior profile with experience in modern and distributed architecture design, legacy application modernization, and the definition of scalable, secure, and resilient technological solutions.

What you'll do

What responsibilities will you assume?

Definition and evolution of enterprise architectures and target architectures.
High-level design decision-making for the implementation of technological solutions.
Definition of technical standards, including development best practices, tools, and platforms.
Supervision of the implementation of various architectural components.
Technical problem-solving during the design and implementation phases.
Driving modern architectures: microservices, distributed architectures, and event-driven architectures (EDA).
Promotion of design methodologies and practices such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and hexagonal architecture.
Definition and application of design, integration, and decoupling patterns.
Modernization and evolution of traditional architectures and legacy systems towards digital and cloud environments.
Collaboration with technical teams and leadership in architectural decision-making.

How you'll work

Project conditions

Project: Public Administration (AAPP) Sector.
Location: Community of Madrid.
Modality: Hybrid or on-site, with the possibility of 100% remote work.
Working hours: 40 hours per week.
Schedule: Possibility of intensive summer working days.
Work will be performed via virtual desktop.
