The role

We are looking for a Chief Engineer in Programmable Logic to lead the technical definition, design, and development of solutions based on FPGAs, SoCs, and programmable devices for projects in the aerospace and defense sectors.

You will serve as the technical expert in high-integrity digital architectures, participating in all phases of the product lifecycle: design, verification, integration, validation, and certification, while working with multidisciplinary teams specializing in hardware, embedded software, systems, and verification.

What you'll do

Key Responsibilities:
• Define and validate FPGA/SoC architectures for mission-critical systems.
• Provide technical leadership to digital engineering, FPGA, and verification teams.
• Oversee RTL development (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog), timing analysis, and adherence to design best practices.
• Define verification and validation strategies, ensuring requirements traceability and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense regulations and standards (DO-254, ECSS, MIL-STD, EN9100, among others).
• Participate in certification activities, technical proposals, and effort estimates.
• Drive technological innovation in areas such as hardware acceleration, DSP, AI on FPGAs, and continuous process improvement.
