The role
At Grupo Planeta, we are looking for an Editorial Technician for the Comic, Minotauro area of our Publishing House in Barcelona (Temporary).
What you'll do
- Technical coordination of the editorial process (relationship with proofreaders and translators, interaction with the production, design, and marketing/communication departments).
- Writing and reviewing briefings for design, marketing, and communication.
- Writing, reviewing, and checking the texts for the commercial folder.
- Writing design specifications.
- Management of originals, reading reports, and readers.
- Calendar control and SGE maintenance (files and plan).
- Support for the editor in monitoring trends and talent in genre literature (Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror)
- Attendance at editorial committees and project proposals.
