About the role

We are looking for an Operations Technician for the Jaén tram system. Join us!

🚀Your mission will be to provide daily support to the tram system through direct action on the network, collaborating with Line Managers in resolving first-level incidents, customer service, driving during operational maneuvers, and fraud control, contributing to service continuity, safety, and quality of operations.

What you'll do

🫵Duties:

Operational support on the network

  • Support Line Managers in supervising operations at stops, during transit, and in operational areas.

  • Collaborate in resolving breakdowns and first-level incidents.

  • Perform operational tasks at stops and during transit (ATC).

First-level technical actions

  • Perform operational tasks at technical facilities, stops, and during transit (level 1 maintenance).

  • Carry out basic actions at facilities and infrastructure.

  • Perform the initial diagnosis of incidents within the scope of action.

  • Report and coordinate actions with the Control Center, Line Managers, and Maintenance Coordination.

  • Facilitate the subsequent intervention of contractors for higher-level repairs.

Ticketing and customer service

  • Assist customers in using ticket vending machines.

  • Perform recharges and basic repair actions on ticketing equipment.

  • Address inquiries and resolve incidents related to tickets and system access.

Fraud control

  • Conduct fraud control inspections in accordance with established procedures.

  • Ensure a minimum inspection rate of 5% of passengers, with geographic and time-of-day diversity.

  • Use the fraud control equipment supplied by the system provider.

  • Act independently from the Customer Service department responsible for issuing personalized tickets.

Support for rolling stock management

  • Drive vehicles during operational maneuvers when necessary and when authorized.
