Forestry Technical Engineer - Health monitoring and control of wildlife (Madrid)

• Live capture of specimens of wildlife species and specimens included in the Catalog of Invasive Exotic Species and hybrids in the Community of Madrid
• Support in management, control of actions, and supervision in Controlled Hunting Zones, Hunting Reserves, and in private hunting estates included in protected spaces of the Community of Madrid
• Immediate response to emergencies caused by wildlife in the Community of Madrid
• Planning, monitoring, control, and data processing of actions on wildlife carried out by the collaborating entities of the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture, and Interior

Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in performing engineering, consulting, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, is looking to hire 1 Forestry Technical Engineer to provide support for the health monitoring and control of wildlife at the Wildlife Recovery Center, Soto de Viñuelas in the Community of Madrid.

• Driving license B
• Valid firearms permit

• From 1 year to 2 years of experience in hunting and fisheries management (demonstrable with an employment contract, to be verified during technical assessment)
• From 1 year to 2 years of experience in wildlife work (demonstrable with an employment contract, to be verified during technical assessment)

• Proficiency in IT tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint (to be verified during technical assessment)

• We offer:
  - A fixed-term contract with an estimated total duration of 5 months, if applicable.
